... day at the department ... relaxed
Back on dry land ... and had to check actually when i woke up ... but ye the bed is not moving .... so off to the bathroom and some breakfast.
Usual routine to get to the department and deal with whatever needs to be done before the weekend takes off ... but nothing planned.
Had further exploratory talks on setting up the Nitrox blending unit especially cause of the fact that so much money might be invested in the membrane system which makes no use of pure Oxygen and so don't need to purchase it ... problem here in Azores as they need to import it from the mainland ... so removing Nitrogen from Air will give the same result as adding Oxygen to Air ... greater percentage of Oxygen in the breathing gas ... Enriched Air Nitrox.
The director asks for further information as well and i am more than pleased to help in any way. The Nitrox blender course has been advertised department wide .... nearly Faial wide as Joao Monteiro asked the dive shop operators as well if they were interested ... so people are subscribing. I also managed to get PADI's applications ... Personal Identification Cards (PICs) ... online ... and so certifications can be done quickly, cheaper and securer online ... using digital pictures and digital signatures.
Not much more happened during this restful day on land ... as i walked back home i thought of a restful evening and night enjoying the peaceful sunset at Horta ...
At home ... cooked some quick noodles ... watched 2 movies as background distraction ... and slowly slipped into a sweet sleep ...
